COMMUNITY MANAGER

SUMMARY

Grove Street Games is seeking a full-time, experienced colleague to join our Community Management team where you will interact with players and provide player support on a daily basis. We are looking for a motivated, well-organized person who can voice player feedback to our team and assist players when they are in need. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interacting with our games’ communities on a daily basis. It’s essential to both collect their feedback for the rest of the Dev Team and inform them about how our games work
  • Maintain a healthy, productive online gaming community through interaction and moderation on platforms such as Discord, Reddit and web forums
  • Planning in-game events and subsequent marketing materials
  • Providing Customer Support for players with in-game problems and issues
  • Participating in weekly meetings
  • Playtesting new features for our games
  • Coordinating tasks with other team members of varying disciplines
  • Light game design tasks that engage your creative problem-solving

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent writing, grammar, and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize a large workflow in an organized manner
  • Adept at all major social media platforms
  • Adept spreadsheet skills with Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with computers, mobile devices, and video games in general
  • Relocate to Gainesville – This position is not remote

GOOD TO HAVE

GOOD TO HAVE

  • Experience at other software development studios
  • Experience moderating online gaming communities
  • Experience in Public Relations and/or public-facing communications
  • Experience working in customer service and support
  • Knowledge of video games
  • Experience with ARK: Survival Evolved
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (PR, Marketing, Communications, etc.)
