STUDIO MANAGER
SUMMARY
Grove Street Games is seeking a full-time, experienced studio manager to join our team in Gainesville where you will focus on recruiting, cultivating a strong studio culture and keeping the team working happily and efficiently on a daily basis. Our team members are key to our games’ success and as the studio manager, it’s your mission to ensure that they have what they need to deliver amazing games. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, be highly organized and detail oriented, be excited by new challenges and an ever changing to-do list, and be a gamer at heart.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in recruiting (filter potential candidates, set up interviews, handle NDAs, etc)
- Coordinate first day logistics for new hires (including desk setup, orientation, etc)
- Plan and arrange catering and special event logistics
- Office inventory management and organization
- Answer the door, receive packages and mail
- Varying professional administrative tasks including, but not limited to, booking appointments, research projects, coordinating travel, ordering gifts, etc.
- Handle other tasks or projects as directed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Experience managing projects across departments, stakeholders, and cross functional teams
- 3+ years of office experience in which you performed similar duties.
- Strong ability to solve problems proactively
- Possesses good judgment and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Enthusiastic, with an excellent work ethic
- Must be 21 years or older (this role requires purchasing and handling of alcoholic beverages)
- Love of video games and geek culture
